80년대 켈리포니아출신 하드락밴드 테스라입니다~ 70년대초반 한창 인기를 끌었던  CCR이 불렀던 Lodi를 테스라가 리메이크한곡인데요.. 원곡과 비교 감상 해보세요.. 구닥다리팝이지만 지금들어도 여전히 좋으네요.. 원곡도 좋지만 테스라의 리메이크곡도 참 감칠맛이 나네요~~^^* (재생버튼 클릭!~~)        Tesla-Lodi                 C.C.R-Lodi   LODI는.. 1969년에 나온 CCR의 세번째 앨범 그린 리버에 있는 곡으로 제목인 로다이(Lodi)는 멤버의 존 포거티 (John Forgety: 작곡자이자 메인 보컬)의 고향인 캘리포니아의 엘 세리토(El Cerrito)에서 75마일 떨어진 곳에 있는  포도주로 유명한 도시 이름이라고 합니다.   Lodi (1969) Just about a year ago, I set out on the road, Seekin’ my fame and fortune, lookin’ for a pot of gold. Things got bad, and things got worse, I guess you will know the tune. Oh ! lord, stuck in lodi again. Rode in on the greyhound, I’ll be walkin’ out if I go. I was just passin’ through, must be seven months or more. Ran out of time and money, looks like they took my friends. Oh ! lord, I’m stuck in lodi again. The man from the magazine said I was on my way. Somewhere I lost connections, ran out of songs to play. I came into town, a one night stand, looks like my plans fell through Oh ! lord, stuck in lodi again. Mmmm... If I only had a dollar, for ev’ry song I’ve sung. And ev’ry time I’ve had to play while people sat there drunk. You know, I’d catch the next train back to where I live. Oh ! lord, I’m stuck in lodi again. Oh ! lord, I’m stuck in lodi again.
