'지미 브라운'이란 아이가 태어났습니다. 아기가 태어난날 그의 부모님들은 그를 교회로 데려갔지요, 교회 목사님께서는 주님의 품에 안긴 작은 아이를 축복했습니다. 교회의 종들이 새생명의 탄생을 축복하기위해 산골짜기 작은 마을에 울려퍼졌습니다. 수많은 교회의 종들이... 20년후'지미브라운'은 총각으로 장성했고 사랑하는 여인을 만나 결혼을 합니다. 결혼식장은 그가 탄생의 축복을 받은 교회... 많은 사람들이 새로운 한쌍을 축복해주었지요. 교회의 종들이 '지미브라운'과 그의 신부를 축복하기 위해 산속 작은 마을에울려퍼집니다. 그와 그의 아름다운 신부를 위해서... 수많은 교회의 종들이 울려퍼집니다. 몇십년이 지난 어두운 어느 비오는 날 아침... '지미 브라운'은 세상을 떠났습니다... 많은 사람들이 그들의 오랜친구인 '지미브라운'에게 작별인사를 하려 교회에 모였습니다. 그들은 말합니다... 그의 인생은 한송이의 꽃과 같았느라고... 그의 목숨이 다할때까지 싹을 틔우고 꽃을 피우며 살았노라고... 오직 단 한 개의 교회종이 외롭게 울립니다. 오랜친구인 '지미 브라운'을 떠나보내면서... 그의 오랜친구들은 주님께 기도를 올립니다.
