세상을 살아가면서 
우리는 하루에도 몇 번씩 
수 많은 삶의 돌을 만납니다
그때마다 그 돌을 대하는 
마음가짐에 따라 결과는 달라지는데요
그 돌을 어떤 사람은 걸림돌이라 말하고 
또 어떤 사람은 디딤돌이라고 말합니다
삶에서 오는 모든 장애를 
불평과 원망의 눈으로 보는 것과
또 그것을 발판으로 재기와 도약의 
발판으로 삼는 것과는 분명 
큰 차이가 있을 겁니다
오늘도 장애의 요소와 같은 돌을 
곳곳에서 만나게 되겠지요
그런 돌들은 생활에 무수히 널려 있습니다
하지만 가장 중요한 것은 
깔려있는 돌이 아니라 
우리 마음의 자세가 아닐까 싶습니다
나를 힘들게 하고 뒤쳐지게 
하는 것들이라고 생각해온 모든 걸림돌을
오늘부터는 역으로 발판을 삼아서 디딤돌로 
생각할 수 있다면 편안하고 
행복할 수 있겠지요
