There's a little mountain church
in my thoughts of yesterday Where friends and

옛날을 상상해보니 거기에 친구들과
family gathered for the Lord Where an ol' fashioned preacher
taught the straight and narrow way
For what few coins the congregation could afford
가족들이 주님을 위해서 모였어 오래된 설교자가
곧고 좁은 길을 가르치는 그 곳
회중들은 헌금할 동전 몇냥도 없었지.
Dressed in all our Sunday best,
we sat on pews of solid oak
주일에는 최고의 옷으로 정장을 하고
튼튼한 오크로 만든 의자에 앉았어.
and I remember how our voices filled the air
How Mama sounded like an angel on those
우리의 목소리가 천장에 가득차고
천사와 같은 어머니 목소리를 기억하네
high soprano notes and When the Roll is Called Up Yonder I'll Be There"
Looking back now that little mountain church house
높은 소프라노 와 "하나님의 나팔소리 천지진동할때에"를 불렀던
조그마한 산교회당을 지금 회고하노라.
Has become my lifes cornerstone
It was there in that little mountain church house
I first heard the words I based my life upon
그는 내 인생의 토대가 되었지
조그마한 산교회당에 그런 일이 있었어.
내 인생의 기초를 놓는 그 말씀을 거기서 들었지.
at the all day Sunday singing, with dinner on the ground
Many were the souls that were revived
주일 온종일 찬양과 마당에서의 저녁식사에서
참석한 사람들의 상당수는 부활한 영혼들이었어요
While the brothers and the sisters who've gone on to Gloryland
Slept in peace in the maple grove nearby
그 와중에 영광의 땅으로 먼저 간 형제와 자매들은
근처의 단풍나무 숲에서 평온하게 자고 있었죠.
Looking back now that little mountain church house
Has become my lifes cornerstone
조그마한 산교회당을 지금 회고하노라.
