Lee Ann Womack은 1966년 8월 19일 Texas,주 Jacksonville에서 태어 났으며, 그녀의 아버지가 Part-Time Disc Jockey로 일을 하면서 자주 Lee Ann Womack을 Studio로 되리고 가서 아버지가 Disc Jockey로 일을 하는 동안 옆에서 LP판을 뽀바다 주는 일을 도왔답니다, 그일을 도우며 그녀가 좋와 했던 가수는 Bob Wills, Ray Price 그리고 Glen Campbell 등이 였으며,... 또한 날씨가 좋은 날이면 집에서는 Stereo Speakers 옆에 비스듬이 기대어 Grand Ole Opry (Tennessee주 Nashville에 있는 Country 음악만을 전용으로 연주하는 Hall)에서 흘러 나오는 음악을 즐겨 들었답니다... 데뷔앨범 : 1997년 1집 앨범 [Lee Ann Womack] 수 상 : 2005년 제39회 Country Music Award Album상, I Hope You Dance로 많이 알려진 Country 여가수 Lee Ann Womack입니다... 지난번 CMA에서 상복도 많았던 이 가수는 Country 여가수들의 정력적인 모습의 전형적이라고 할 수 있습니다. 근래에 나오는 Country 음악은 어느정도 보수적인 Genre에서 파격과 혁신을 기대하기는 어렵지만... 거부감을 최대한 줄인 Crossover 정도로 하는 것이 최대한 Country Music의 정도인 것 같습니다... 반면에 Shania Twain, Lee Ann Rimes 같이 아예 탈 Genre를 하지 않을 바에야... 이런 Stereo Type은 그 나름대로 좋은 것 같습니다...
